Overview: Bloomingdales VP of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading talent acquisition strategies that drive acquiring talent nationwide, both executive and staff. They must collaborate and partner with executives throughout the organization across all channels of our business (Stores, Outlets, Corporate). We believe Bloomingdales is Like No Other Store in The World and this position will distinguish our brand by leading a team that drives an innovative recruitment strategy. The ideal candidate will define the direction for sourcing and attracting talent and set the bar for candidate experience. Essential Functions: Lead development and execution of talent acquisition initiatives across the organization that drives strategic talent placement. Interface with Macys Inc. to ensure alignment on global company talent acquisition initiatives and messaging. Lead and develop talent acquisition team: be candid, responsive and collaborative. Build trust and foster relationships across the organization with different levels of executives to accomplish cross functional projects and responsibilities. Partner with business groups to develop talent acquisition and overall strategies for specific issues. Lead employer branding initiatives to establish Bloomingdales as a premier place to work and grow your career. Manage and have accountability to recruitment budget Lead targeted Senior Executive searches and provide backup assistance to recruiting team. Deliver on Key Performance Indicators as set by the executive committee regarding recruitment metrics. Drive Simplification, Standardization and Empowerment on the talent acquisition team. Key member of the HR leadership team who provides input, guidance and thought leadership regarding companies overall talent strategies. Qualifications: Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree and minimum 5 7 years related experience. Talent Acquisition experience interfacing with Senior level executives in a complex organization. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills: Must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as budgeting and forecasting. Reasoning Ability: Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Demands: This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment. May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Other Skills: Proven ability to manage a large group of executives to successful outcomes.
